No Desk Project
In 2018 I had the privilege of doing work for a novel leisure, travel, and remote-work-focused start-up called No Desk Project. The overall goal of the company is to find digital nomads and combine travel and working abroad. We would send a remote worker to a city like Bali for one month - along with a health and nutrition expert, a personal trainer, and a volunteer coordinator to help maximize professional advancement by taking care of your personal and mental needs.
Role: Content Writer/Copywriter/Marketing Consultant
For this project, I worked alongside a UX Engineer to write the content to market the idea of working remotely. I also wrote copy for a landing page encouraging other companies and clients to work with us.
Result: I mocked up a “Partner With Us” page and a "Why Work Remotely?” page to help promote No Desk Project’s brand voice and tone.
Original Mockup:
First Mockup of Landing Page:
Issues - stakeholder suggestions
Content Hierarchy is cluttered.
Need CTA’s (Call to Action) buttons to be more prominent
No need for video content
Omit News & Articles section
Change top navigation titles
Include About Us/Resources/Legal navigation options somewhere on the page
Revised Landing Page
Result: Simplified landing page. Content is digestible and less cluttered. Key CTA buttons for potential partners to contact the company are more prominent.
